Return to Blog Posted on September 2, 2016
I started this blog when I came up with the name “Miles & Pace” at first the blog was going to be my little space in the digital world to share my run adventures BUT “Miles & Pace Clothing and Goods” happened and eight months after the launch of our online store, it’s finally time for me to dive back in and dedicate some time to my blog and to stop feeling like a “horrible B L O G G E R”!
With that, the blog has a new name… “Running a Creative Life” felt like the right fit with my passion for running and running a creative agency, expect a nice mix of running and creative inspired dishes and designs. If you can’t wait for my next blog post, which I promise won’t be another year… you can always take a peek at my Instagram.
So what does one do when they skip eight months or blogging and race recap opportunities? Train, run, play and hit the beach with the family! The summer has been packed with fun, runs with the littles and a few challenges in between.
In July, San Diego hosted the MLB All-Star game and we took the streets for our first Color Run and had a blast. The kids loved it, the energy and post party with DJ Marc Thrasher was an explosion of color and all around just an amazing San Diego experience.
Next up in July was the annual Chargers Bolt to the Q 5K! Where my nephew did his first “Kids Mile” crossing the finish line on the Chargers playing field and watching him accept his medal in excitement was so awesome and love that this has become a family tradition.
Stay tuned for full race recaps on the San Diego Rock n Roll Half Marathon & more…
